Buddah Board : Day Three

Clearly spring has sprung and it is time to go out to my garden.

The plot under my pergola is in need of tending.

The weather has warmed.

Spanish broom is in bloom.

I want to plant holly hocks.

and vegetables.

Buddah Board :: Day 2

So not only am I uncomfortable with the impermanence, now I find I must analyze,  interpret, find some meaning in the lines and dots and dashes and swoops.

Both manifestations have what could be considered an eye. Is this the opening up of the eye?  a reminder to see?  to look at myself.  Perhaps [...]

Buddah Board Art :: Day 1

I’ve always wanted a Buddah Board, and I finally got one when I went to the Georgia O’Keefe Museum in Santa Fe. When I re-upped my membership I got a 20% discount at their museum shop for that day only,  and I couldn’t resist.

Poetry or prose?

Notes of Rhapsodyin blue-green flow around melucid, fluid sharps and flats clarified by perfect Csround like pebbleslaying in the shadowsof leafy treesalong the waters edge.

It’s about time

I’m late posting this, which is funny since the quote is about time. I must admit this post was not done with time, unless of course you count the time I spent noodling this quote.

When I was in New York earlier this [...]

I’m not the next NPR star

yet.

Well, thanks everyone for your votes. The voting has closed. The judging is over. And I did not make the list of top 100 vote getters at the public radio talent quest… nor did I make the list of entries nominated by more than one judge.

I only listened to 200 entries. A [...]
